Touchscreen and Sensor Checks for Phones, Tablets and Touch Laptops

Touch and motion problems are easiest to find when you test edges, corners, multiple fingers and real device movement. Use a repeatable path so you can compare results before and after cleaning, rotating or restarting the device.

Find dead zones with deliberate strokes

Open the Touch Screen Test and draw horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. Slow strokes are better than fast scribbles because they reveal gaps, jumps and areas that ignore input.

Pay special attention to keyboard areas, corners and the edge near buttons. These regions often show pressure or repair-related problems.
