Camera Test Troubleshooting: Focus, Exposure, Permissions and Lens Checks
A good camera check is more than seeing any preview. You want stable focus, natural exposure, correct camera selection and clean permission behavior. Browser previews are useful because they test the same camera path used by video calls and web apps.
Confirm the browser can access the camera
Open the Camera Test and choose the available camera. If the preview is blank, check browser permissions, operating system privacy settings and whether another app is already using the camera.
A working preview means the browser can receive video frames, but you should still check quality before calling the device healthy.
